Workwear Prices and Cost Guide

TL;DR: Workwear prices are not fixed; they are set in tiers according to the fabric type, weight, printing/embroidery method, number of logo areas and order quantity. As the quantity rises, the unit cost falls. The exact figure comes out once the product and quantity lines are clear. For the right price for your project, you can get a net quote by giving a few details in the quote form.

What Sets the Price of Workwear

The cost of a workwear garment cannot be expressed as a single figure. The price is made up of the product's fabric, its weight, the logo application on it and the total quantity. Each item pulls the unit price up or down. The headings below show how the price takes shape.

Fabric Type and Weight

Fabric types such as piqué, single jersey and gabardine sit in different cost bands. Weight is decisive too: a thin 160 g summer fabric and a heavy 220 g fabric are not the same price. Higher weights and technical fabrics increase the unit cost and raise durability.

Printing / Embroidery Method and Logo Area

The logo application is a significant cost item. Embroidery is priced by colour and stitch density, screen printing by the number of colours. A single chest logo and logos on the chest, back and sleeve together are different costs. As the number of areas increases, so does the application cost.

Why Does the Unit Price Fall as the Quantity Rises?

In workwear production there are one-off costs such as the embroidery file, the screen-printing screen and set-up. This fixed cost is divided by the total quantity. In a 100-piece run, the set-up cost takes a larger share per piece; as the quantity rises, that share falls and the unit price comes down.

The Logic of Tiered Pricing

Pricing is tiered: in set quantity bands, the unit price falls step by step. That is why there is no single answer to the question "how much does workwear cost?". The right figure emerges when the model, fabric, weight, logo application and quantity are assessed together.

Why Don't We Give a Ready Price List?

Every project's fabric, logo and quantity are different. A fixed list price either makes you pay too much or lowers the quality to make the product cheaper. At Mars Wear, we prefer to clarify the items specific to your project and offer transparent, tiered prices. This guarantees the most accurate budget.
