About Work T-Shirts
The work T-shirt is the most-ordered item in corporate clothing — because a single product can keep staff comfortable all day and give the company one consistent image. At Mars Wear every style in this category is made to order for your organisation from a minimum of 100 pieces; we do not sell retail from ready stock.
Which collar for which team?
The decision really comes down to one question: do your staff work face to face with customers?
The polo shirt, with its standing collar and buttoned placket, is the most corporate knitted option. It is the standard choice for reception, shop, sales and administrative staff.
The crew neck is the most comfortable and the most economical; it is preferred for field, production line and workshop teams where there is a lot of movement. It has the largest back area, so a company name and a job title sit best here.
The mandarin collar gives a more covered, more formal silhouette with its closed standing collar.
The V-neck is a more modern cut; it is common in retail and event teams.
Long-sleeved styles are used in the changeover between seasons, on days when a T-shirt is not enough but a jacket is too much.
In practice the most common set-up is not one style but two: polo shirts for administrative staff, crew necks for the field — made in the same corporate colour, they meet two different needs without breaking the team's unity.
Fabric and weight
Piqué lets air through thanks to its small, porous surface texture, and it is what gives the fabric its corporate look; it is our default choice for polo shirts. Single jersey is smooth and soft, and gentler on the skin. A cotton-polyester blend shrinks less and keeps its colour longer — practical for operational teams with frequent washing. Dry-fit polyester carries moisture to the surface and dries quickly; it suits teams working in hot environments and sports and event use.
The practical rule on weight: 180 g/m² is the balance between comfort and durability and the right starting point for most teams. If a fuller hand and a more opaque look are wanted, 200–220 g/m² is preferred. Some shrinkage in the wash is normal for pure cotton products; size planning takes this into account.
Logo: embroidery or print?
For uniforms worn every day, embroidery is the most durable method and leaves a corporate texture; it is our standard choice for the left chest. For high-volume jobs with a limited number of colours, screen printing brings the unit cost down. For low-volume, multi-colour or gradient logos, transfer printing and DTF are used. Where photographic detail is needed, DTG comes in.
In chains, the most common layout is the brand logo on the left chest and the branch name or job title on the back.
Ordering and production
The minimum order is 100 per product line — not per size. You can plan the colour and size breakdown freely within that quantity and split colours by department within a single order.
Production takes place at our own facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul; because patterns, cutting, sewing and logo application are all under one roof, revisions are quick. Our own design team adapts your corporate colours to the product and prepares a digital placement mock-up before the sample. We ship within Türkiye and abroad; for multi-branch companies, cartons can be split by size and location and distributed directly.
