About Workwear
Choosing workwear starts not with a single product but with how a team moves through its day. In the same factory, the operator at the machine and the staff on the dispatch dock do not have the same needs: one is protected against sparks and abrasion, the other against poor visibility and cold.
This category covers the whole-body needs of a corporate workforce — from T-shirts and shirts to trousers, from boiler suits to jackets and gilets, from safety footwear to accessories.
Narrow the choice down with three questions:
First, risk. If visibility is needed, hi-vis clothing (EN ISO 20471) is mandatory and its class is set by vehicle speed. If there is welding, chemicals or food hygiene, the fabric and pocket layout change accordingly — in food and pharmaceutical production there are no pockets above the waist.
Second, movement. For teams who constantly bend and stand, or work on their knees, knee pad pockets and stretch fabric directly affect productivity. For teams at a fixed point the priorities are insulation and comfort.
Third, representation. For staff who see customers, visitors or auditors, clothing is also a corporate signal; there, shirts and polo shirts are used, and on site, T-shirts and boiler suits.
Fabrics fall into three main directions: high-cotton weaves breathe and are comfortable in the heat but dry slowly; high-polyester weaves keep their shape and colour for longer, an advantage for large teams with frequent washing; gabardine and ripstop weaves resist tearing and abrasion.
The fabric weight decision also depends on the season. In summer products a lower weight reduces sweating; in winter products thickness alone is not enough — a layering system (thermal base layer, mid-layer, outer layer) always beats one heavy jacket.
Mars Wear has been manufacturing at its own production facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul since 2015. With our own design team we develop patterns, colours and logos for each organisation; our minimum order is 100 pieces and our standard lead time is 15 working days. We ship within Türkiye and abroad.
A mixed size breakdown costs nothing extra; for size planning, see our workwear size chart page. For the logo, we recommend embroidery, transfer or screen printing according to the fabric.
