What Is a Fleece-Lined Gilet?

A fleece-lined work gilet is a two-layer winter work gilet that brings together two different fabrics: an abrasion-resistant microfibre (micro) fabric on the outside and a soft, warm fleece lining on the inside.

This combination solves two separate weaknesses of single-layer gilets at the same time. A plain fleece gilet is soft, but its outer surface wears quickly and pills with friction. A plain woven gilet is hard-wearing but feels stiff against the skin and its insulation is limited. The fleece-lined model puts durability on the outside and comfort on the inside.

This model is produced in navy, with a stand collar, a full-length zip, a zipped chest pocket and two zipped side pockets.

At Mars Wear we produce the fleece-lined gilet at our own production facility. The outer fabric, fleece thickness, pocket layout, colour and logo application are decided for your organisation. Our minimum order is 100 pieces; we ship within Türkiye and abroad.

What Does the Two-Layer Construction Give You?

• Outer layer (microfibre): Resists abrasion and wear. In jobs with heavy contact with sacks, boxes, ladders and tools, it prevents the fleece from pilling quickly.
• Inner layer (fleece): Keeps the body warm, moves sweat outwards and feels soft against the skin. It causes no discomfort on a long shift.
• Together: The durability that a fleece gilet alone cannot give and the comfort that a woven gilet alone cannot give come together in one product.

That is why the fleece-lined model is preferred by mixed teams who are both in the field and in the office: one product gives both a neat look and durability.

Which Gilet Should You Choose?

The four gilets in the catalogue serve different priorities:

• Fleece lined (this product): Durability + comfort together. The most balanced option for field-heavy teams.
• Fleece Work Gilet: Single-layer fleece. Lighter and more economical; for indoor and office use.
• Padded Work Gilet: Padded panels; blocks the wind and is more effective outdoors. A sporty look.
• Micro Gilet: Thinner and lighter; for mid-season and active use.

If sleeved protection is needed, the winter work jacket is the right choice; if there is rain and a need for night-time visibility, the waterproof reflective jacket.

Colour, Logo and Custom Design

Standard production is navy; black and anthracite are also common choices. These shades do not show stains on site and go easily with a corporate identity. If your brand colour is different, we can set the outer fabric, zip and fleece lining colours separately — a lining in a contrasting colour is often requested as a corporate detail.

For the logo, embroidery on the left chest is the most durable method; the back offers a large area for the company name and department. Our own design team prepares the placement and presents it for your approval before production. Sizes and Fit

The gilet is cut a little generously so that a sweatshirt or shirt can be worn underneath; if it will be worn under a jacket, we recommend a more relaxed fit. We do not sell the gilet from stock; we produce every order for your organisation.

2. Our design team prepares the logo placement and presents it for your approval.
3. If you wish, we make a physical sample before production.
4. After approval, production starts at our own facility — 15 working days.
5. Shipping is within Türkiye and abroad.

Care

The gilet should be washed on a 30 °C gentle cycle, inside out. Fabric softener should not be used — it coats the fleece fibres, disrupts moisture transfer and speeds up pilling. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a fleece-lined gilet and a plain fleece gilet?

The fleece-lined model has a hard-wearing microfibre fabric on the outside and a fleece lining on the inside. A plain fleece gilet has a single layer; it is lighter and more economical, but its outer surface pills more quickly with friction. For field-heavy use, the fleece-lined model lasts longer.

How many pockets does it have?

There is one zipped chest pocket and two zipped side pockets. An inner pocket or extra pockets are added on request.

Can it be worn under a jacket?

Yes. Thanks to its sleeveless, slim construction, it adds insulation under a jacket or parka without bulk.

Can reflective tape be added?

There is no reflective tape in standard production; we add tape on request. If you need high visibility subject to occupational safety regulations, we recommend our safety vest models with a fluorescent background.

Can the lining be a different colour?

Yes. We can make the fleece lining in your corporate colour or in a colour that contrasts with the outer fabric.

Is it produced in our corporate colour?

Yes. We can set the outer fabric, zip and lining colours according to your brand identity.

Do you produce a women's pattern?

Yes. The gilet is produced in men's and women's patterns, in XS–5XL.
