Work Gilets

Mars Wear manufactures work gilets at its own production facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, with its own design team, in your colours, patterns and logo, from a minimum of 100 pieces; we ship within Türkiye and abroad. Standard lead time is 15 working days.

A gilet leaves the arms free. For teams who use tools, drive, or put constant load on their arms, a gilet is preferred to a jacket: it keeps the torso warm without restricting movement. In air-conditioned offices and shops it is the most practical way to adjust warmth without changing the whole outfit.

WINTER GILETS

Padded gilet — quilted padded body, stand-up collar and full-length zip. Alongside the side-pocket and three-pocket models, the branded padded gilet is made with or without a fleece lining and with or without reflective tape.

Fleece-lined work gilet — microfibre outer with fleece lining; a two-layer winter gilet with zipped chest and side pockets.

Reflective gabardine gilet — 100% cotton 7/7 gabardine, quilted lining, chest reflective tape and flap pockets. The winter gilet best suited to embroidery.

MID-SEASON GILETS

Fleece gilet — anti-pilling fleece, stand-up collar and full-length zip. Over a polo shirt in the office, and as a mid-layer on site.

Softshell gilet — windproof, water-repellent softshell fabric with zipped side pockets.

Multi-pocket gilet — heather fabric, unlined, zipped, with six pockets. For tradespeople, technicians and field teams who carry tools, radios and paperwork.

Rain gilet — PU-coated polyester, welded-seam waterproof construction, drawcord hood and reflective tape. It protects the torso on wet days.

REFLECTIVE GILETS

Hi-vis vest — fluorescent yellow or orange with reflective tape; back lettering and a logo can be applied. For teams exposed to traffic, plant or low light.

Engineer's vest — a five-pocket reflective vest. For site engineers, supervisors and technical staff who carry paperwork and equipment.

Mesh vest — fluorescent mesh fabric with double reflective tape around the body. Light and airy on summer sites.

WHICH GILET FOR WHICH SEASON?

Mesh and hi-vis vests lead in summer, fleece and softshell gilets in spring and autumn, and padded and quilted gabardine gilets in winter. If you plan two seasonal gilets for the same team, setting the colour and logo placement together keeps the team's look the same all year.

HI-VIS VEST OR ENGINEER'S VEST?

If being seen is all that is needed, a hi-vis vest is light and cost-effective, and a practical choice for visitors, subcontractors and temporary staff too. For engineers and supervisors who carry paperwork and equipment all day, a pocketed engineer's vest is more practical. If your specification requires certified high visibility (EN ISO 20471), tell us at the start of the project; the certification status is confirmed before the order.

LOGO AND PRODUCTION

Fleece and gabardine gilets are embroidered and softshell gilets are printed; on padded gilets the method is chosen together, depending on the fabric. On reflective vests the logo is placed so that it does not reduce the fluorescent background or the reflective tape. Our design team prepares the logo placement as a digital visual and sends it for your approval before production. Sizes XS–5XL, larger sizes made to order.

Prices shown on the cards are average unit prices excluding VAT for the quantity you select; once the model, lining and logo method are settled, we prepare a quote for your organisation.
