Side Pockets or 3 Pockets?

The padded gilets in the catalogue work on the same layering logic; the difference is the pocket layout and the options:

• Padded work gilet with side pockets (this product) — two side pockets, no chest pocket; a clean front.
• 3-pocket padded work gilet — a zipped chest pocket in addition to two side pockets; for staff who want quick access to an ID card, phone and pen.
• Branded padded gilet — made fleece-lined or unlined, with or without reflective tape; lining and tape are chosen per team.

The rule is simple: if staff reach for a chest pocket often during the day, the 3-pocket gilet; if pockets are only needed for warming hands and small items, the side-pocket model is enough.

What Does Having No Chest Pocket Give You?

• Nothing falls out of the pocket when bending. A phone, pen or card in a chest pocket easily falls out when bending or reaching. Because the side pockets are at waist level, this risk is reduced.
• A tidy area for the logo. On a front with no chest pocket, the logo sits on either side of the zip without clutter from seams and zips.

Because there is no chest pocket, logo placement on the front is free: left or right chest. The plain back panel offers the largest area for the company name or department. The logo is applied by embroidery or transfer print; our own design team positions it between the quilted channels so that the seam line does not run through the middle of the logo. • Wash at 40 °C, inside out, with the zip closed.
• To keep the quilted fill's shape, natural drying is recommended instead of a tumble dryer.
• Do not use fabric softener; over time it reduces the fill's ability to trap air.
