Why a V-Neck for a Logo T-Shirt?

This product is positioned in the catalogue as logo-print first, and the reason is the neckline itself.

A polo collar has a placket and a row of buttons in the middle of the chest; this splits the front in two and makes a large logo or slogan practically impossible. A V-neck has no placket — a single, uninterrupted surface remains from below the neck to the hem. The back is flat anyway.

The practical result: a company name, campaign slogan, event lettering or large emblem can be applied on this model without distortion. If you want your corporate identity carried not by a small chest logo but by a visible design, this is the right product.

Its second feature is its look. A V-neck lengthens the neckline compared with a round neck and gives a neater silhouette; that is why it replaces the classic T-shirt in retail, tech and event teams.

Printing Method: Quantity and Design Decide

  • Transfer print / DTF — for low and medium quantities, and for multi-colour and gradient designs. The quickest solution for event and campaign work.
  • Screen printing — the method that brings the unit cost lowest on high-quantity jobs with a limited number of colours. Because screen preparation is a fixed cost, the advantage grows as the quantity rises.
  • DTG (digital) — for designs that need photographic detail and unlimited colours.
  • Embroidery — the most durable method on small areas such as the left chest; on large front or back applications it is both costly and heavy.

A common, balanced layout is: embroidery on the left chest, print on the back. The chest embroidery raises the corporate impression, while the back print makes it readable from a distance.

The choice of colour has a direct effect on printing: a light print on a dark background needs extra preparation and affects the cost; the same design comes out more easily and cheaply on a light background. We plan this together at the design stage. For a comparison of methods, see our articles Embroidery or print — a workwear logo guide and logo printing and embroidery methods.

Which Neckline for Which Purpose?

  • V-neck (this product) — if a large logo and print come first; retail, tech and event teams who want a modern look.
  • Crew-neck work T-shirt — the most economical and most durable; site, production and workshop. The back area is wide on this model too.
  • Polo work shirt — the most corporate; staff who work face to face with customers. Not suitable for a large front print.
  • Mandarin-collar work T-shirt — a closed stand collar, a more covering and formal silhouette.
  • Long-sleeved polo — for the change of season.

The rule of thumb is simple: is the logo small and corporate, or is the design large and visible? For the first, a polo; for the second, a V-neck or crew neck.

Who Wears It?

Corporate events, trade fairs and launches — the main use of this product. An event-specific design, a large logo and a date or slogan come out undistorted on a V-neck.

Retail chains and stores — chosen by brands that want a modern cut that stands apart from the classic uniform look.

Tech companies and offices — everyday wear for software, e-commerce and creative teams; also used in onboarding and staff gift packs.

Promotion and sponsorship work — the wide print area is decisive on jobs where the sponsor logo needs to dominate the garment.

Sports clubs and corporate running events — as a training and event T-shirt, with dry-fit fabric.

Factory and logistics admin staff — for admin staff distinguished from the field team by neckline. See our factory and production workwear and logistics and warehouse workwear pages.

Corporate gifts and onboarding sets — our corporate gifts and workwear strategy article shows the way for this use.

Fabric and Weight

Single jersey (standard) — a smooth, soft knit. The smoothest base for printing; our default choice for this product.

Piqué — a textured surface, a more corporate look. On large prints, the texture softens fine details slightly.

Cotton-polyester blend — shrinks less and keeps its colour longer. Practical for teams whose garments are washed often.

Dry-fit (polyester) — moves moisture to the surface and dries quickly; for sport and event use.

For weight, 180 g/m² is the right starting point for most uses. For event and promotional work, 160 g/m² lowers the unit cost; for a uniform worn constantly, 200 g/m² lasts longer. Some shrinkage in the wash is normal with pure cotton. For details, see our work T-shirt weight guide.

Colour and Corporate Identity

Our stock colour range covers dark (black, navy, anthracite, burgundy, dark green), light (white, cream, light grey, light blue), bright (red, orange, yellow, green) and classic (beige, tan, khaki) groups.

For orders that need an exact match to the corporate identity, custom colours are produced to a Pantone reference; the quantity and lead time are planned separately. Mixed colours are possible within a single order — different colours for staff and participants is a common distinction at events.

Size and Cut

XS – 5XL is the standard range; 6XL and above are made on a custom pattern. The V-neck is a modern cut and sits a little closer than a classic T-shirt. For orders to be handed out to a mixed group, such as at an event, we recommend allowing for this — planning one size up is a common choice for such jobs.

A mixed size breakdown is handled in a single production run. You can use the workwear size chart page to plan the breakdown.

Custom Design and Production

We produce the T-shirt for your company in terms of colour, weight, neckband shade and print placement. Our own design team positions the design on the garment, works on scale and colour harmony and prepares a digital placement visual before the sample — on large-print jobs, this step is the only way to see the result on screen.

Production takes place at our own facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul; because pattern, cutting, sewing and printing are under one roof, the revision process is short. We ship within Türkiye and abroad; for multi-location jobs, boxes can be split by size and address for distribution. For the process, see our custom uniform design page.

Order Quantity and Price

The minimum order is 100 — per product line, not per size. The colour and size mix can be arranged freely within this quantity.

The unit price is calculated from the fabric type, weight, printing method, number of application areas and quantity together. On printed jobs the effect of quantity is marked: in screen printing, screen preparation is fixed, so the share per piece falls quickly as the quantity rises.

You can see the current unit price by entering your quantity in the calculator on this page and request a quote with the “Request a quote for this product” button on the same screen. For multi-batch jobs tied to an events calendar, we work out a framework price — contact us through the quote form. For budget planning, see our workwear prices and cost guide, and for our minimum quantity structure, the bulk logo workwear production from 100 pieces page.

If an event job has a date-bound delivery, we recommend planning early — design approval and the sample stage are the parts of the timeline that stretch the most.

Care

Wash at 30–40 °C, with similar colours and inside out. Bleach should not be used.

With printed garments, the most critical rule is ironing: do not press the iron directly onto the print. Iron from the reverse at a medium temperature. High-heat drying both increases shrinkage in cotton and speeds up cracking of the print; drying in the shade is recommended.

For details, see our workwear care instructions page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the best model for a large front print?

Yes. The placket on a polo splits the front in two; because a V-neck has no placket, an uninterrupted area remains from below the neck to the hem. Large logos, slogans and event designs are applied on this model without distortion.

Can the back be printed too?

Yes, the back is flat and uninterrupted anyway. Front and back applications are often done together; each extra area is reflected in the unit price.

Which printing method should I choose?

Quantity and design decide: transfer/DTF for low-to-medium quantities and multi-colour designs, screen printing for high quantities and limited colours, DTG for photographic detail. For a small chest logo, embroidery is the most durable.

Can a dark T-shirt take a light print?

It can, but it needs extra preparation compared with a light background and affects the cost. We assess the colour and background combination together at the design stage.

How far ahead of an event should I order?

Our standard lead time is 15 working days; design approval and sample time come on top of that. For date-bound jobs we recommend setting up the timeline early.

Does it shrink in the wash?

Some shrinkage is normal with pure cotton. The option with the least shrinkage is the cotton-polyester blend.

What is the minimum order?

100 pieces, and this quantity is per product line, not per size.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes. Production takes place at our own facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul; we ship within Türkiye and abroad.
