About Caps and Beanies

Mars Wear prepares branded caps and beanies in your colours and with your logo from a minimum of 100 pieces; the logo is applied at our own facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, from artwork prepared by our own design team. Standard lead time is 15 working days, and we ship within Türkiye and abroad.

MODELS

Branded cap — 5 or 6-panel peaked cap, with embroidery, transfer print or a woven label. For promotions, trade fairs, events and outdoor teams; it shades from the sun and carries the logo at eye level.

Branded beanie — turn-up or plain cut, in acrylic, wool blend or fleece-lined versions. A corporate winter accessory; made in the same shade as the jacket, it keeps the team in one look.

Hard hat liner — a single-layer thin fleece cap with a narrow profile that covers the ears. It is made to be worn under a hard hat.

PROMOTIONAL CAP OR STAFF CAP?

They are not the same product, and telling them apart at the start directly affects cost. A promotional cap is handed out at trade fairs, events or dealer visits; its life is short, and what matters is unit cost and a logo that reads from a distance. A staff cap is worn every day, washed regularly and spends hours in the sun; what matters is fabric that does not fade, a sweatband that does not break down and a lasting logo. Tell us which one your team needs and we will choose the fabric and construction accordingly.

LOGO ON A CAP: EMBROIDERY OR PRINT?

The front panel of a cap is curved; a large, flat transfer print cannot follow the curve and creases at the edges. That is why embroidery is usually the right method on a cap: it follows the curve and stands up to washing. Printing is used for multi-colour, finely detailed logos. Our design team prepares a simplified version of your logo for the cap; the file used on a T-shirt does not work the same way on a cap.

5-PANEL OR 6-PANEL?

A 6-panel cap has a seam down the middle of the front; the logo sits to one side of it or is wide enough to cover it. It is the most common option. A 5-panel cap has a one-piece front and is preferred for wide, centred logos. If your logo is wide and symmetrical, choose 5-panel; for a standard emblem, 6-panel is enough.

BEANIES: LOGO AND MATERIAL

On a turn-up beanie the logo is applied to the band that folds up, so its direction must be set for the folded position. That is why we ask you to approve the sample beanie folded. A plain-cut beanie has no such issue. For large, mixed teams we recommend acrylic; for windy sites, a fleece-lined beanie; wool blend is warmer but needs more care in the wash.

NO THICK BEANIES UNDER A HARD HAT

A hard hat protects through the gap between head and shell and the way the harness spreads an impact. A thick beanie narrows that gap and changes how the hard hat sits. Teams who wear hard hats are given a thin hard hat liner instead. The liner does not carry the hard hat's certification; check the hard hat manufacturer's instructions for compatibility.

A CAP IS NOT ENOUGH IN FOOD PRODUCTION

In food production areas hair must be fully covered; a peaked cap leaves the back and sides of the head exposed. Caps suit the dispatch, warehouse, outdoor and office areas of a food plant; do not plan caps for staff who enter the production line.

ORDERING

If you plan caps and beanies with your uniform order, the colours match exactly. Prices shown on the cards are average unit prices excluding VAT for the quantity you select; once the logo method and quantity are settled, we prepare a quote for your organisation.
