Beanie Production with Your Logo
The most used and most personally valued part of a winter uniform. Staff wear their beanie outside work too — which sets it apart from other accessories in terms of brand visibility.
Mars Wear produces it in your company colour and with your logo from a minimum of 100 pieces; standard delivery is 15 working days, shipping within Türkiye and abroad.
On a Turn-Up Beanie, the Logo Ends Up Upside Down
This is the most common problem in beanie orders, and it is noticed only after delivery.
On a turn-up (cuffed) beanie, the logo is applied on the band that folds up. When that band is turned up, the logo flips upside down — because the knit lies flat before it is finished. In correct production the logo is applied upside down so that it appears the right way up when folded.
A manufacturer who does not know this applies it the right way up, 500 beanies arrive with upside-down logos and the job is redone. That is why we ask you to approve the sample in its folded state.
A plain-cut (no turn-up) beanie has no such problem; the logo is applied directly.
Acrylic or Wool Blend?
- Acrylic — the standard for corporate and promotional orders. Holds its colour, does not shrink in the wash, is moth-proof and low in cost. The most practical option for a uniform look across a large workforce.
- Wool blend — warmer and breathable, but expensive; it needs care in washing and colour options are more limited. Preferred for small teams who work outdoors all the time.
- Fleece lined — a fleece band is added inside the knit; it blocks the wind. Knit alone lets wind through, so this makes a difference on windswept sites.
We recommend acrylic for large and mixed workforces and fleece lined for tough site conditions.
Knit Density Is a Matter of Choice
A loose knit looks light and smart but lets the wind through. A dense knit keeps you warmer and looks a little thicker. If the beanie will be worn both on site and in town, a medium density is the most balanced choice.
For teams who wear hard hats, a beanie is not used — a thick knit narrows the hard hat's head clearance and weakens its protection. Those teams need a hard hat liner, which is a single layer of thin fleece.
Logo Method
- Embroidery — the most durable and most corporate-looking method. Embroidery sits well on a knitted surface.
- Woven label — for finely detailed and multi-coloured logos; it gives detail that embroidery cannot.
- Transfer print — not recommended on knit; the knit texture breaks up the print and it cracks in the wash.
Our own design team prepares a separate version of your logo for use on beanies. For a comparison of methods, see our logo printing and embroidery guide.
Complete the Winter Set
A large share of heat loss is from the head and neck; a beanie alone does not protect the neck.
- Fleece Neck Warmer — closes the collar gap
- Corporate Scarf — office and customer-facing staff
- Balaclava — if the wind is strong and constant
- Thermal Socks
- Winter Work Jacket — the upper layer
For the summer equivalent, see our cap with logo page; for all accessories, see the workwear accessories category.
Ordering and Care
Our minimum order is 100. We recommend approving the sample in its folded state — only then can the logo direction be checked.
- Wash at 30 °C, inside out, on a delicate cycle.
- Do not tumble dry; both acrylic and wool felt.
- Dry flat rather than hanging — a hung beanie stretches and loses its shape.
- Do not iron directly over the embroidered area.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the logo applied upside down on a turn-up beanie? Because it is applied on the band that folds up. It has to look right when the band is turned up, so in production it is applied upside down. Approve the sample in its folded state.
Acrylic or wool? Acrylic for large and mixed workforces — it holds its colour, does not shrink and is economical. For small teams working outdoors all the time, a wool blend is warmer, but it is expensive and harder to care for.
Should staff who wear hard hats be given beanies? No. A thick knit narrows the hard hat's head clearance and weakens its protection; those staff need a thin hard hat liner.
Can transfer printing be used? We do not recommend it on knit; the texture breaks up the print and it cracks in the wash. Embroidery or a woven label should be chosen.
Will sizing be a problem? Because knit stretches, one size covers a wide range of head sizes; no size management is needed in corporate orders.
What is your minimum order? 100 pieces.
