Cap Production with Your Logo
A cap is the most visible and least expensive carrier of a corporate identity. It protects field staff from the sun and carries the brand at trade fairs, events and dealer visits.
Mars Wear produces it at its own facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, in your company colour and with your logo from a minimum of 100 pieces; standard delivery is 15 working days, shipping within Türkiye and abroad.
Promotional Cap or Staff Cap?
They are not the same product, and separating them at the outset directly affects the cost of the order.
Promotional cap — handed out at a trade fair, event or dealer visit. A short service life, worn by anyone. What counts here is the unit cost and how legible the logo is from a distance; a one-size adjustable cap in a lighter fabric is enough.
Staff cap — your team wears it every day, washes it regularly and spends time in the sun in it. What counts here is durability: fabric that does not fade, a sweatband that does not break down with sweat and a peak that does not fall apart in the wash. Giving cheap promotional caps to staff means ordering twice within a few months.
Tell us which your team is; we decide on fabric and construction accordingly.
Embroidery or Print? The Rules Differ on a Cap
A cap is a different surface from a T-shirt — and that limits the logo method:
- The surface is not flat. The front panel is curved. A wide, flat transfer print cannot follow this curve; it wrinkles at the edges and cracks over time.
- A panel seam runs down the middle. A 6-panel cap has a seam dividing the front in two. A logo that crosses the middle breaks at that seam.
- The area is small. A wide composition like on a T-shirt does not fit on a cap; a simplified version of the logo is needed.
That is why embroidery is usually the right method on a cap: it follows the curve, stands up to washing and gives a corporate look. For multi-coloured, finely detailed logos, transfer printing or a woven label comes in.
Our own design team prepares a separate version of your logo for use on caps — the same file as on the T-shirt does not look good on a cap.
5 Panel or 6 Panel?
- 6 panel — the classic construction, with a seam down the middle of the front. The most common and most economical option. The logo is placed to one side of the seam or wide enough to cover it.
- 5 panel — the front is one piece, with no seam. Preferred for wide, centred logos; gives a more modern silhouette.
If your logo is wide and symmetrical, 5 panel; if it is a standard emblem, 6 panel is enough.
In a Food Plant, a Cap Is Not Enough
This needs saying clearly: in food production areas, the hair must be completely covered. A classic peaked cap leaves the back of the neck and the sides exposed; for hygiene, a hairnet or a fully covering head covering is needed.
A cap is suitable in the non-production areas of a food plant (dispatch, warehouse, outdoor areas, administrative staff). Do not plan caps for staff who enter the production line.

Plan It with the Set
Ordered on its own, a cap has a higher unit cost; added to a uniform order, the cost drops and, because the logo is applied by the same hands, the colour shade matches exactly.

- Crew-Neck Work T-Shirt
- Gabardine 16×12 Summer Work Trousers — the same season

Ordering and Care
Our minimum order is 100. When you request a sample, we send a physical one — we recommend judging how the logo looks on a cap in your hand, not on a screen.
- Wash by hand or on a delicate cycle at 30 °C; a high spin speed in the machine deforms the peak.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Stuff it while wet so it dries without losing its shape.
- Do not iron directly over the embroidered area.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose embroidery or print? The surface of a cap is curved and a 6-panel cap has a seam down the middle; both make a wide flat print difficult. For most logos, embroidery gives a better result. For multi-coloured, finely detailed logos, we recommend transfer printing or a woven label.
Can the logo file from our T-shirt be used on a cap? Usually not. Because the area is small and the surface curved, a simplified version is needed; our design team prepares it separately.
What is the difference between 5 panel and 6 panel? A 6-panel cap has a seam dividing the front down the middle; on a 5-panel cap the front is one piece. For wide, centred logos, 5 panel is more suitable.
Can caps be used in food production? Not on the production line — the hair must be completely covered, and a cap leaves the back of the neck and the sides exposed. They can be used by dispatch, warehouse and administrative staff.
Will sizing be a problem? An adjustable back closure covers a wide range of head sizes from one stock item; no size management is needed in corporate orders.
What is your minimum order? 100 pieces.
