Work Jackets

Mars Wear manufactures work jackets at its own production facility in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, with its own design team, in your colours, patterns and logo, from a minimum of 100 pieces; we ship within Türkiye and abroad. Standard lead time is 15 working days. The one exception in this group is the 5+1 work jacket: it is supplied from stock and delivered with your logo printed.

WHICH JACKET FOR WHICH TEAM?

Winter work jacket — water-repellent outer and quilted padded lining, with fleece lining, reflective tape and hood options. For field, warehouse and site teams in standard winter conditions.

Gabardine quilted winter jacket — 100% cotton 7/7 gabardine outer, quilted lining, shirt collar, elasticated waist and reflective tape. The winter jacket best suited to embroidery.

Waterproof reflective work jacket — navy body with reflective tape on the chest, sleeves and waist, and a hood. For wet sites and night work; the most popular choice as a site jacket.

5+1 work jacket — a waterproof fluorescent parka with a zip-out inner jacket. With the sleeves removed it becomes a gilet, and turned inside out it is a navy fleece.

Softshell work jacket — waterproof and windproof stretch fabric, stand-up collar and full-length zip. For technical service, field sales and driver teams.

Branded padded jacket — lightweight quilted body with synthetic fill. Worn on its own in spring and autumn and as part of the layering system in winter.

Work coat and parka — long cut, waterproof outer, padded lining and detachable hood. For teams who spend long shifts outdoors in harsh winter conditions.

Security jacket — water-repellent outer, thermal padded lining, reflective tape and SECURITY lettering on the back. For private security teams.

Fleece jacket — a mid-layer under a jacket in winter, and a top on its own in spring and autumn.

LAYERS, NOT ONE THICK JACKET

In the cold, performance comes from layers rather than one thick jacket. A thermal base layer moves sweat away from the skin, a fleece or padded gilet holds the warmth, and the jacket blocks wind and water. A very thick jacket makes staff who move sweat, and then chills them as soon as they stop. That is why we plan a mid-weight jacket and a mid-layer together to suit how the team works, and recommend a coat or parka for harsh winters and long outdoor shifts.

WATER-REPELLENT OR WATERPROOF?

Most winter jackets have a water-repellent outer; it beads light rain but lets water through after hours of rain. Teams who work in constant rain are given the waterproof reflective jacket, the 5+1 work jacket or the work coat and parka. If your specification requires EN 343 certified garments, state it at the start of the project.

VISIBILITY

Sites with night work, traffic or plant need reflective tape. On reflective jackets the logo is placed so that it does not cut the tape. If your specification requires certified high visibility (EN ISO 20471), tell us before ordering; the certificate for the fluorescent 5+1 work jacket is confirmed before the order.

JACKET OR GILET?

For teams whose arms are always working, who use tools or who drive, a jacket can restrict movement; a work gilet is the better choice for them. If you plan the jacket and gilet in the same colour and logo, the team keeps one corporate look.

LOGO AND PRODUCTION

On gabardine and heavy winter fabric, embroidery is the most durable logo method. On softshell and waterproof coated surfaces we print, because embroidery punctures the coating with needle holes. Our design team prepares the model, colour and logo placement as a digital visual and sends it for your approval before production. Sizes XS–5XL, larger sizes made to order; women's and men's patterns are developed separately.

Prices shown on the cards are average unit prices excluding VAT for the quantity you select; once the model, fabric and logo method are settled, we prepare a quote for your organisation.
